The Canadian Federation of Agriculture (CFA) was formed in 1935 as a unified voice to speak on behalf of Canadian farmers. Our work continues today as a farmer-funded, national umbrella organization comprising of provincial general farm organizations and national and interprovincial commodity groups. We represent producers of all commodities, who operate farms of all sizes. Through our members we represent approximately 200,000 Canadian farm families from coast to coast.

International Youth Internship Program, funded through the Marine Institute of Memorial University of Newfoundland and Global Affairs Canada (GAC)- Investigated the development of Community Based Natural Resource Management for beach management units. Interviews and qualitative analysis were conducted through field visits with various stakeholders to examine women’s social and economic participation in marine fisheries in order to better gauge suitable gender and environmental sustainability approaches for future projects

- Conducted research on green horticultural practices in Kenya, technology and autonomous driving towards more renewable and sustainable energy. This was specifically in relation to the GOALAN (Green Horticulture at Lake Naivasha) project, which aims to support the Kenyan horticultural sector by developing more sustainable production and consumption along the supply chain- Supported the development of Training of Trainers (ToT) modules specifically for women and youth in SME's in Kenya- Wrote project descriptions, minutes and articles on different topics- Transcribed, translated and edited various texts/presentations

- Assisted in the Call to Action handover from the EU to Canada on the protection from gender-based violence in emergencies. Core responsibilities included the creation of communication content for events, which incorporated both internal and external stakeholders- Various preparations of meeting minute reports and briefings of events- Creation of mapping briefing on the challenges of environmental refugees and their legal implications- Within the Education in Emergencies file, I analyzed DG ECHO's projects on a secondary data review system in order to visualize key activities funded by ECHO
