Growing up, I had an enormous passion for softball. I was arguably the worst on the team when I first started playing, but I loved it. I practiced, set goals, accomplished them, worked on my mental game, and improved my attitude. Fast forward ten years, and I have multiple state championship titles and MVP awards. My determination and work ethic earned those titles.A strong work ethic and determination have also created success in my academic experience. I am pursuing my bachelor's degree in accounting at Utah State University while working 35-40 hours a week in a relevant field. I have maintained a 3.99 GPA and developed excellent time-management and organizational skills in my university experience. A strong work ethic and determination created success in my career experience. Currently, I am working as an accountant for Conservice. I handle the accounts receivable, assist in bank reconciliation, ensure we recognize revenue in compliance with GAAP, and review income statements monthly to catch any errors and maintain the accuracy of our information. Going to school, being an accountant, and playing softball don't seem to have much in common, but each has taught me skills applicable to the others.
