This transition left our sales team in a less than ideal situation, with limited access to the Raycom Research Hub. This was challenging, as we needed constant database updates to accurately reflect changes in programming for sales proposals. In response, I stepped up to fill this crucial role while we awaited the sale to Lockwood Broadcast Group to be finalized. This new role was self-led and involved a lot of self-learning as I taught myself the inner workings of WideOrbit Media Sales and restructured our database to better reflect the uniqueness of our station's programming.As a Research Analyst, I took on the responsibility of analyzing and interpreting data from industry-standard sources such as Comscore and Nielsen to provide essential insights and strategic recommendations. Leveraging my expertise in audience analysis and advertising trends, I supported our sales team in maximizing revenue and optimizing performance in the highly competitive broadcasting market.
