Profile bio

About Taylor Mackey

I have a passion for solving problems. The world is full of problems just waiting to be solved. I believe that in order to create a more sustainable future we need to close the loops in our production and consumption cycles and turn waste streams into resource streams. Topics I am interested in:• waste management• sustainability• climate change mitigation and adaptation• food systems• active transportation• renewable energy• active transportation• ecological design• remediation• community planningI am interested in anything that can help our society progress to a more sustainable future. I am also painfully aware that the term sustainability is not clearly defined. What could be considered sustainable is constantly changing and we need to constantly adapt to changing conditions. Every problem we solve creates new problems. While this might seem discouraging, I think it is exciting, as solving problems is one of the greatest pleasures in life. We live at a tipping point, it is up to us to rise to the challenge and create a better world together.

Listed skills include Research, Sustainability, Public Speaking, Environmental Science, and 24 others.
