I am a U.S Air Force Veteran and security professional who’s experienced in Information Technology (IT) and Cybersecurity. I’ve gained skills in areas such as security management, project management, attention to detail, compliance, technical writing, network design, and configuring switches, wireless access points (WAPs), and workstations for critical information systems. I am also well versed in adhering to information/security standards, conducting program audits, and curating regulatory documentation. Additionally, I have years of customer service experience, leadership opportunities, teamwork, and troubleshooting skills. Currently, I am pursuing a full-time career in cybersecurity engineering that has allowed me to develop talents in Data Loss Prevention (DLP) systems, processes, and implementation. Furthermore, I am also a full-time student pursuing my M.S. degree in Health Information Management. I am projected to graduate in January of 2026. My previous goal was to mesh my IT and cyber experience with healthcare to safeguard Protected Health Information (PHI). After recently receiving my B.S. in Health Information Management, and working with DLP strategies for healthcare organizations, I am truly living in my passion. Moving forward, I hope to continue to thrive in the field of cybersecurity and health information management. I expect to gain more experience and exposure to the craft through my career-based tasks and academic pursuits. I am a proud believer and dedicate my life to the concept of never-ending growth, professional development, and education.
