As an import sourcing coordinator my main goal was to facilitate and track new sourcing opportunities. I scheduled and led sourcing meetings, assured appropriate parties were updated on project status and informed of what is needed next, customer and supplier communications, maintained project folders and shared Inboxes, followed up with my team to insure timelines are being met, provided sourcing and opportunity updates to sales, developed and maintained product specification sheets, facilitated the setup of new items, assisted sales and marketing, facilitated the creation of artwork, sample coordination, ran and summarized Trade Data Searches through Panjiva, and I provided overall support to the sourcing/procurement department in various administrative functions. Being a quick learner and willing to help others has aided in my advancement within Bunzl, I am interested in learning every aspect of the business while I am in such a neutral position with the company. I am eager to learn more and grow professionally while continuing my education to advance more within Bunzl.

I was previously the receptionist at Bunzl St. Louis. My day consisted of average receptionist tasks such as; answering phones, handling mail, scanning and logging documents, and ordering office supplies. Not only did I keep up with my tasks as a receptionist, I took on much more responsibility such as; managing the purchasing inbox, matching orders with confirmations then identifying and correcting any errors, running and sending out vendor rebate reports, creating and implementing a more accurate and efficient rebates tracking system, approving invoices for AP, I also gained the ability and knowledge to place orders and answer some customer service questions, and efficiently navigating AS400 and Microsoft for various tasks at once. The knowledge I received while working as a receptionist for Bunzl St. Louis assited in my growth as an employee and overall person which then resulted in my next positon within Bunzl.
