With over 50 years in the broadcast engineering, Tim has served as a chief engineer, consultant and contractor to major radio and TV stations, groups, networks, and production facilities. He assisted in the early development of non-linear digital audio/video editing and playout systems with Avid Technology, and with the early development of HD Radio for iBiquity.He was the Manager of Radio Product Development at Harris/GatesAir, leading development of the Flexiva™ line of digital radio transmission systems. He is currently the Owner and Principal Engineer of TBA Communications, LLC specializing in digital TV transmission system installations for TV Repack. He served 3 terms on the SBE National Board of Directors and 2 terms on the Digital Radio Mondial Steering Committee. He is a Commercial Airplane, Seaplane, and Drone pilot, and Flight Instructor. He is also an Extra Class Amateur Radio Operator (AG4XM).
