Service Desk Technician - Dining Subject Matter Expert
CurrentOriginally the position entailed handling customer problems and complaints through various mediums of communication with efficiency and accuracy, across a wide range of products and devices. Shortly after joining the company, I was requested to become a subject matter expert in a rapidly expanding branch of the company to provide more in-depth and better understanding to clients in a hospitality setting. The Dining Subject Matter Expert role has required a further understanding of our linux-based devices, mobile ordering systems, cisco network, and various peripherals used on a daily basis.The position also requires an ability to explain the situation and solutions to users in an easily understandable way, as they often do not have a technical background.In my time in this position I have assisted in identifying and resolving major incidents and problems that spanned widely across our product lines. My knowledge and understanding in my specialization has led to my peers and superiors contacting me when they have run into situations they could not resolve themselves and seeking guidance.
