Established the infrastructure, governance, security and operations for a hybrid multi-cloud environment.• Established Data Resiliency infrastructure to consolidate aging and disparate technology to a single platform that enabled bulk restores, data encryption, immutable backups, and multi-factor authentication to address ransomware risks.• Reengineered the private cloud environment that resulted in more efficient use of compute and storage resources, resulting in a $57M CapEx and $8.2M OpEx cost reduction over 5 years. • Led a modernization effort to significantly reduce technical debt eliminate end of life hardware and operating systems.• Responsible for approximately 18,000 Windows servers, 2,700 database servers, 4,000 Citrix servers, 8,000 VDI instances and 1,000 UNIX servers across 5 major data centers and multiple locations.• Led multiple efforts to integrate systems from Catholic Health Initiatives and Dignity Health following the merger. During the split, I was the primary technical resource on all projects for End User Services. • After an acquisition, I was brought in to integrate the infrastructure and end user computing assets into Marathon and decommission the existing infrastructure.• Designed and implemented a complete field communications infrastructure that allowed all communications from drilling rigs in northern Alberta to connect to the Marathon network. This included satellite data, VOIP, wireless, cellular and radios.• Designed and implemented new PetroTechnical infrastructure, including OpenWorks R5000, GeoGraphix, CMG STARS, GeoScout, and Petrel.
