Téa reviewed literature, interviewed stakeholders, and analyzed qualitative data to produce three deliverables: an infrastructure report, a data collection report, and a value proposition report.She co-authored a 91-page strategy report and PowerPoint presentation with recommendations concerning research concerning youth apprenticeship, workforce development, and work-based learning programs in the US.

Téa devised working timelines for both planning and marketing efforts for the Museum's Annual Gala with a projected fundraising goal of $1.5 million.She worked to develop a system to centralize donor engagement amounts over the last 5 active Gala years to more efficiently handle presale mailing for future donor engagement events.

Téa reviewed literature on Texas foster care and community development to guide 25 faith-based community leaders in creating sustainable programs for the system. She assisted in legislative research to support proposed Texas Essential Knowledge and Skill (TEKS) recommendations on the addition of inclusive language to K-12 Social Studies curricula.

Téa served as a teaching assistant in the History department for Dr. Emilio Zamora from August - December 2021 and Dr. Leonard Moore from January - May 2022.

The Public Policy and International Affairs Program (PPIA) Junior Summer Institute (JSI) is a fellowship for rising college seniors at U.S. accredited colleges or universities who demonstrate academic aptitude and a passion for policy. JSI serves as a pipeline to the policy world for students from underrepresented communities. Held each year at Princeton since 1985, JSI teaches skills essential for policy analysis and development in both the domestic and international spheres.

Téa worked in Representative Eddie Bernice Johnson’s D.C. office where she conducted an abundance of research on health policies and drafted memoranda. She transcribed and drafted floor speeches on behalf of the chairwoman and attended congressional committee hearings on science, space, and technology as an aide to the office’s legislative staffers.

Téa worked 40+ hours per week drafting memoranda concerning matters of the Committee of Energy & Commerce and the Subcommittee on Small Business.She assisted legislative staff in batch organizing and utilizing Intranet Quorum to catalog constituent correspondence and faxes.

Working alongside the former Mayor of Dallas, Eric Johnson, Téa analyzed policies and data to find the most proficient method of expanding his summer youth employment program with 320 new opportunities in order to serve approximately 3,000 Dallas youth. Téa also worked to develop a system for documenting constituent communication and meetings resulting in an increased turnaround response.

As a CBCF intern, Téa actively participated in the program's professional development workshops and seminars during the fall of 2019.

Téa assisted in the revising of manuscripts on US foreign relations and other special projects. She also researched over 40 incoming representatives to develop biographical guides in preparation for the 2018 congressional midterm elections alongside other legislative and historical research.
