I am a DEL & Protein Sciences Research Associate at Nurix Therapeutics, a biotech company that leverages the ubiquitin system to develop targeted therapies for cancer and immune disorders. I have a Master degree in Biochemistry from Universidade da Beira Interior, where I conducted research on nanomedicine and drug delivery systems. My core competencies include protein expression, purification, and quality control, as well as nanotechnology and chromatography.As part of the Nurix team, I perform protein expression in E. coli, protein purification using ÄKTA systems, and protein QC using DSF, nanoDSF, and SDS-Page. I also collaborate with other scientists to troubleshoot and improve the processes and results.
