* Conduct interviews with clients from various cultures and backgrounds to determine eligibility for several assistance programs*Use of an automated system to compute budget for income and expenses to determine eligibility benefit as well as providing budget breakdowns and explanations to clients * Assist clients in completing applications, responding to clients’ requests and offer guidance on policies and regulations. o Maintain accurate records of clients’ interactions, case updates and benefit calculations* Complete semi- annual and annual reviews to reevaluate clients’ benefit eligibility * Provide referrals to resources through other agencies to promote self sufficiency. * Collaborate with county staff, state and federal agencies to ensure efficient and timely services delivery * Prepare hearing summaries, participate in pre-hearing conferences and explain decisions in administrative hearing
