At heart I'm an inventor, an ideas guy, always looking for a better way to get the job done or for ways to leverage technology in the service of improving the world.I hold several US patents in a variety of different areas.More recently, I have been spending much of my time in the field of Distributed Ledger Technology, specifically as it relates to Machine-to-Machine micro-transactions, Autonomous Vehicles, Health Data, Smart Buildings, Smart Cities, Infrastructure and AI. I am especially excited about the work I have been doing together with the non-profit IOTA Foundation in Europe around the IOTA protocol. I hate to refer to it as a cryptocurrency because it's about so much more than value exchange, but I am convinced that this technology has the potential to fundamentally change our world for the better.I am a member of the IOTA Evangelist Network and Founder of the bIOTAsphere, here in Toronto.I'm passionate about whatever I do - there doesn't seem to be any point otherwise - whether it's riding my bicycle from Toronto to Niagara Falls to raise money for Cancer Research or designing the technology that will shape our future.I'm committed to servicing clients and delivering real value.
