I am the Chair of the firm’s Trade Secret and Non-Compete group, and that work has focused my practice on the impact of technology on today’s workforce. That work includes:• Non-Compete Litigation: obtain and defend against temporary restraining order and injunction proceedings; enforce non-compete and non-solicitations agreements.•Trade Secret Audits: develop comprehensive policies, agreements, procedures and training relating to trade secret protection, data privacy and security.•Social Media Strategies: consult on social media strategies and goals, development of policies, guidelines and training for employee social media use (both to prevent misuse and to encourage appropriate business-related use). •Information Technology: develop and consult on electronic monitoring issues, acceptable use policies, Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and mobile device policies. •Onboarding and Departing Executives and Key Employees: develop and negotiate employment contracts, non-compete/non-solicitation agreements; develop hiring strategies for employees with existing contractual obligationsContact information: tthompson@fredlaw.com.
