· FT Floater Pharmacist, Pharmacist Covid Clinic Leader· Lead teams consisting of other RPhs, RNs, and technicians in Covid vaccine clinics. Confirm with LTC and assisted living facilities, and coordinate logistics with facility administrators prior to each clinic begins. · Prepare team for next day’s events, create daily routes for team members, and secure adequate daily supplies every morning to ensure multiple clinics were reached each day and completed on time. · Ensure full SOP and COVID-19 precautions are being followed by team. · Review patient screening questions, reconstitute vaccines, and administer vaccines, all at extremely high volumes (clinics included anywhere from 60-350 patients per clinic). · Act as Pharmacist on Duty during shifts, ensuring technicians and interns are performing efficiently and are placed in stations that properly utilize their skills.· Being accessible to questions from patients and team members regarding medications, procedures, and pharmacy rules and regulations. · Verifying prescriptions and making decisions regarding appropriateness of medication usage for patients before dispensing. · Consulting patients and making sure they fully understand their medications and how properly using it will impact their health. Also, if their condition is preventable, advise on how they can prevent future recurrences and further complications.
