Validate and or confirm information related to the appointment and/or reappointment of a participating provider by utilizing the primary source.Conduct site visits and audit managed care organizations that are under delegated contracts to check compliance of our credentialing standards.Primary source verifies and maintains a hard copy of all networks individual and/or facility/ancillary providers’ information. Knowledge of credentialing standards of all state and federal regulatory entities including all medical and surgical provider types.Monitor DHP, DEA and Medical Board disciplinary actions, and follow up accordingly. Correspond with licensing board, NPDB, hospitals, certification agencies, training programs and medical groups to resolve any issues.Significant knowledge of Federal and State regulatory requirements and accreditation standards e.g., JCAHO, NCQA, URAC, NPDB, and other certifying agencies. Assist in the preparation of file reports and binders for monthly credentials committee, including pre-and — post Committee functions. Update SOP’s, and Departmental Policies and Procedures manuals.

Update licenses into system after verifying from DHP.• Participates in audits performed by regulatory and accrediting agencies, including JCAHO, NCQA, CARF, Department of Health, managed care organizations, and others.
