- Lead 6-person team of communication specialists focused on integrating the installation, operations, and maintenance of signal systems; used and maintained equipment valued at $500K- Tactical communications Team Leader providing expertise and training to advise, plan, and equip forces with a three-tier communications network throughout the entire theater of operations.- Supervised the installation, deployment, and troubleshooting of information technology equipment including satellite, HF/UHF/VHF radio, and computer networking systems.- Developed and implemented standards of accounting, distribution and destruction as COMSEC custodian for communication security key management.- Manage help desk operations to provide support using a ticketing system to identify what type of IT related issues end-user are experiencing.- Responsible for the daily administration and maintenance of computer networking systems include onsite administration and support, migration, scheduled installation, configuration, and troubleshoot activities.- Apply imaging to devices based on the location the workstation will be and weather the device will beused tactically or on a domain allocated by the military.- Utilize Excel for purposes of keeping inventory and counts of equipment, company phone rosters, employee PII or contact information, and for tracking of all submitted incident tickets to identify the status and the actions taken to complete each support request.- Run network cables (Cat5/Cat6) through a specified location or building, splice cable and applyappropriate connectors for connectivity to a network (i.e. desktops, laptops, printers and VoIP’s).Install approved software applications, apply patches, and ensure all devices have all the currentupdates to avoid vulnerabilities.- Identify problems and determine corrective actions to meet customer needs, which typically resultedin long-term customer loyalty.Active Security Clearance
