As Project Director, Terri Reed brings over 23 years of business and economic development experience to the El Paso based MBDA Business Center. Making her uniquely qualified for this position is that Terri served as the Senior Vice President of the Entrepreneurial Development Center of the El Paso Hispanic Chamber of Commerce prior to assuming her role as the Project Director of the MBDA Business Center, in April of 2008. Terri has spent years working collaboratively with partners to develop and initiate programs to help these businesses realize their growth potential. She has achieved proven success as the grant writer for the El Paso Hispanic Chamber, and has managed several federal grants during her tenure with the Chamber, including the Women’s Business Border Center, now entering its 13th year of funding from the Small Business Administration, the Hub Development Center of Excellence (funded by Small Business Administration), the Border Strategic Alliance (a cooperative with the U.S. Department of Agriculture), and the Empowerment Zone Technical Assistance program (a cooperative between the City of El Paso and Housing and Urban Development).
