Working with B-to-B start-up company, developing the business plan for a new product launch; product development, operations, marketing, sales and budgeting.

Completed short-term assignment directing marketing initiatives supporting the launch of a B-to-B trade magazine, monthly e-newsletter, educational events and social media plan for a membership-driven organization serving the insurance claims and litigation management industry. • Crafted positioning and marketing communication plan for magazine launch. • Developed social media plan for LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter sites. • Create and deploy email campaigns for the magazine and Alliance educational events.• Selected a new email marketing deployment system that upgraded the capabilities for the CLM Alliance.• Plan and execute trade show activities.

Responsibilities include planning and strategy (research, branding, positioning, budgeting), marketing communications , tradeshows , and staff hiring and development.• Hired, trained and led marketing team responsible for creating and executing strategies supporting 12 magazine product lines.• Developed marketing plan targeted to advertisers for company’s first portal website launch, combining four individual product websites into an industry portal. Through the first five months of 2011, revenue was 18% over budget, and 43% over 2010 results.• Directed and managed company’s initial efforts into advertising-driven digital products – web seminars, sponsored email blasts and research surveys. Grew web seminars from 14 events and $165,775 in year one to 79 events and more than $1,000,000 in revenue in three years.
