Lead Expedia Group’s environmental sustainability and climate strategy. Responsible for developing the company’s overall positioning on climate, both from an operational perspective and also embedding sustainability and green travel options across the travel platforms. Successes on operational decarbonization include creating and implementing the company's first climate targets, climate action plan, climate risk assesment enterprise carbon management software, net zero roadmap, and SBTi engagement, along with ESG reporting and disclosure frameworks, double materiality assesment, and preparation for SEC and CSRD compliance. My work has also led our engagement with the wider travel industry including major suppliers, partners, and peers, with successes including launching sustainability-related features in our booking tech platforms, positioning our brand on climate and sustainability for both B2C and B2B business, and the creation of the Nature Positive Tourism Fund and Destination Climate Champions program for community resilience, ensuring that travel is truly a force for good.

Directed the engagement strategy for over 300 corporates, including F500 companies across global RE100 and EP100 business action campaigns, and led the development of new programs on supply chain decarbonization and renewable thermal energy in order to advance corporate leadership in accelerating the transition to a clean energy, low-carbon future.

Coordinated all aspects of campaign including fundraising, comms, policy, data and voter outreach, and volunteer staffing for a candidate running on climate resilience and housing justice.

Brought on board at 100RC in order to launch a new Knowledge & Impact team with a two-fold mission: aggregating and extracting learnings from across the global network about how cities are building resilience around the world, and monitoring and evaluating the impact of our work and success made toward our Theory of Change.

In partnership with the Rocky Mountain InstituteWorked with cross-sections of global stakeholders to generate consensus around innovative ways to overcome barriers and accelerate investment into renewable energy, clean tech, and efficiency across diverse industries. Spearheaded the design of new roles for the Carbon War Room to intervene in global markets and drive change. Served as the forward-face of multiple program areas, creating champions and managing joint implementation efforts. Principal liaison with corporate partners, NGOs, government groups, and academic institutions.

Developed and promoted campaigns, managed fundraising and media events, and engaged grassroots members. Researched, designed, and publicized informational materials to increase donations and encourage public activism. Compiled, wrote, and edited the 2009-2010 Foundation Annual Report – expenditures, program summaries, results. Secured enduring partnership with Global Poverty Project, resulting in an elevated profile and ~20% gain in annual revenues.

Supported deputy directors with research, writing, and editing, proposals and grants, and conference arrangements. Served as consultant for Oxfam America white paper on climate and disaster relief policy – responsible for background research, interviews, and report writing. Cultivated funding opportunities, participated in program design for a 'youth leadership in conservation' program.

Handled legally sensitive conversations, written records, databases, budgets, schedules, and grant applications. Facilitated a safe environment for diverse members of the community, including low-income and immigrant groups. Our center ensured safe visits and custody hand-offs for families in the domestic violence and child protective services court systems.
