Atuação na condição de facilitadora dos treinamentos presenciais e online promovidos pelas Regiões e pelo Grupo de Desenvolvimento. Capacitação de todos os voluntários para assumirem com segurança e eficiência as funções pretendidas para a realização das tarefas de gestão, envio e recebimento visando o crescimento dos números e da qualidade dos serviços regionais. Motivação e organização da participação dos voluntários nos cursos e treinamentos, e promoção de momentos de avaliação pessoal e do trabalho para suporte e melhor definição de metas (quando necessárias).

Controlar o orçamento do Comitê, contas a pagar e receber e saldo em conta, realizar o reembolso de gastos dos voluntários, de acordo com as normas do AFS, fazer as prestações de contas do comitê e apresentá-la para os demais voluntários, para o Diretor Administrativo da Região e para a Secretaria Executiva periodicamente.

As orientações locais preparam os participantes, suas famílias e escolas hospedeiras, em cooperação com a equipe de escolas, para que tenham as melhores condições de aproveitar as oportunidades que a aprendizagem intercultural pode oferecer.Aconselhamento: Planejar, organizar e assegurar uma forma efetiva de contato regular com o intercambista, famílias e instituições hospedeiras. Acompanhar e dar suporte ao intercambista, famílias e instituições hospedeiras com o intuito de promover a integração e aprendizagem intercultural a todos os envolvidos. Auxiliar na resolução dos conflitos, buscando uma boa convivência e uma relação saudável de troca de conhecimento.
