Currently overseeing the Product Design function for Yahoo News, Search, Mail and Platforms at Yahoo. Responsibilities include supporting the culture and health of 60+ Product Designers, hiring, managing organizational change and providing cross functional design leadership across all of Yahoo's business units.

Responsible for the Asana Design Team in New York City, which includes overseeing 7 teams across two areas. During my time at Asana I've led 8 designers and a manager. The work included launching new features and enhancements across the core Asana experience, including "My Tasks", projects, goals, portfolios, search, project templates, status updates and reporting. I established the NYC hiring pipeline, design culture and rituals in the New York office, pursuing greater craft and product quality. I also worked closely with my cross functional partners to lead the vision, strategy and long term resourcing for the Coordinate and Align areas.

Lead design, research and UX writing for the Safety, Support, Insurance & Mapping teams. Grew the team to 11 designers, leading multiple initiatives, including Lyft's Health Safety Program across the Rider & Driver experience, a suite of Safety Tools, like ADT Emergency Assistance for Riders & Drivers, Rideshare insurance purchasing in the Driver app (our 1st Insurance Marketplace product), and the launch of Lyft's internal Risk Management System.

As the first designer on the ground in the New York City office, oversaw hiring and ensuring a healthy design culture in Lyft New York City's office. Responsible for leading a team of designers, researchers and UX writers across several Core Rideshare teams, including Driver, Rider and Airports.

Responsible for implementing a new hiring process and writing the product design career ladders. Introduced new tooling, to improve process, consistency and quality across tech, support and the brand. United product and brand Design to establish a new visual and typography system.

First designer on Trust (formerly Risk), growing the team to 4 designers, 2 researchers & content strategist, and ultimately forming the Trust organization.

Designed and lead the production of the first World Surf League iOS & Android apps with the teams at Sly Trunk and World Surf League.

Responsible for launching several casual games, as well as managing design and product development for clients like the World Surf League (see above).

Product lead for multiple media properties, across platforms, including Wonderwall.com (iOS, Windows, Web), Tested.com (web), Mom.me (web, Windows 8) and Glo (web, iOS). Mentored two junior Product Managers, managed the underlying content/community platform powering these products and oversaw multiple product roadmaps, collaborating with UX, Creative, Editorial and Ad Sales.

Led multiple strategic business initiatives, including creating a system for syncing inventory to Amazon.com and defined new customer service policy for returns and refunds. Project resulted in a new multi-million dollar revenue stream for the company.

Originally started as a Software Engineer, transitioning into the role of Technical Project Manager, responsible for managing and building products for government agencies in the Greater Los Angeles Area.

Full time performing artist in over 14 countries with a schedule of six to eight shows per week. Recorded “A Night with the Ten Tenors” a DVD concert of the show “Here’s to the Heroes” in Hamburg, Germany.
