The Betty is a live stand-up comedy show at the Society Clubhouse, the new home of The Society of Beer Drinking Ladies, featuring curated, pro lineups that reflect the sometimes overlooked diversity within the comedy community. These shows are relaxed and open to everyone, of all genders, that loves a good laugh. A little earlier and a little tighter, our goal is to create space for these funny folks to stretch out with longer sets in a supportive environment.Note: this venue is wheelchair accessible including bathrooms on main floor.

Honoured to be given the title of Comedian in Residence as I embark on a labour of love producing monthly stand-up shows for Gilda's Club. The "Never Mind Comedy Show" is a volunteer project that has grown out of great respect for Gilda Radner, an understanding of the devastating effects of a cancer diagnosis, and the power of laughter in dealing with cancer-related stress. The global pandemic threw us a good one but attendance and laughs are WAY up so the joke's on you, COVID. We have broadened our reach beyond the clubhouse and are now open to the public.
