Launched a church plant from the ground up. We began a small Bible study in our house, and quickly outgrew the space. We moved into a small storefront, and I oversaw the integration of our core team with a church that had been without a pastor for about 1 year. We began filling up the storefront and moved into an elementary school.We were recognized as effective at reaching out to the culture of San Antonio, able to draw 3rd and 4th generation Hispanics into the fellowship, along with many other ethnicities.My responsibilities included overall vision and direction of ministries and programs, as well as hiring of staff and volunteers. Raised money through various partnerships to support the church. I preached weekly and developed sermon series and overall teaching topics.
