Research Development Manager: Create new participatory design techniques to identify user needs and to co-create new user experiences. Mentor the research staff in technique, analysis, interpretation and presentation. Work with designers to realize new product opportunities emerging from real-world user needs and desires. Client/Project Management: Manage programs from start to finish to ensure world-class research and design. Create and sustain effective client relationships through carefully choreographed meetings, presentations, and communications. Business Development: Work with the sales team to understand client needs, prepare proposals, create research plans, and present.

Conducted extensive observational research, interviews, and focus groups to discover user needs and generate new product opportunities. Developed and managed a user-centered research process adopted by the design teams. Facilitated usability evaluations (usability testing and heuristic evaluations) of new kitchen appliances.

Conducted a Control Room Design Review (CRDR) at the Savannah River Nuclear Production Reactors. Identified human factors design violations and provided a mitigation plan.
