This position provides Tier 1 client support for the American Red Cross National Headquarters, Chapters, and Biomedical Regions assisting with basic Active Directory, Network, Telecomm, Hardware and Software requests and issues. I have also assisted in the individual instruction of new hires for the contract as well as assisted in updating documentation for new processes and reviewing submitted cases to ensure that the new processes were followed.

Simple Tech Innovations is a local business that provides both Residential and Business technical support with a strong focus in support for medical offices. These services are performed on site, over the phone, or in our office and included, but were not limited to hardware support, computer imaging and deployment, building customized desktops, virus cleanings, network set-ups, data line installations, software support, VPN installations, server support, and Electronic Medical Record Support.

This position took on tickets and projects which included imaging new computers for Faculty and Staff and redeploying the older models. During this time, I have either assisted in or have taken the project on myself to replace the desktops in three of the labs on campus during this period of time.

I work the front desk of our office taking the calls from the main service support line. From those calls I either provide service or answer questions on the spot, or I allocate the service request to the proper technician. I do inventory for our supplies and I help maintain the 11 computer labs on our campus. I provide support for programs such as Microsoft Office 2003 and 2007, Adobe Creative Suite 3 and 4, our Zimbra and Webmail e-mail client, Mozilla Firefox, and our Datatel data management program. I also service both Macintosh and Personal computers along with various Hewlett Packard Deskjet and Laserjet model printers, whether they are connected to a network or to a specific computer. On top of all this I assist the technicians in our department in different projects when needed. These projects include re-imaging the computers in our Arts Center computer lab, installing additional network cables in our resident halls, and trying to innovate new ways to improve our current service desk system.

Nazareth College requires that all of its students pass the PHL 101 Logic and Inquiry class. Due to the grade that I received in this class I was recommended by my professor to be a tutor. I am assigned up to 4 students at a time to meet whenever they wish so I can assist them in what is currently being taught to help reinforce ideas and concepts.

Created and ran programs, mentored, enforced the Nazareth College's Code of Conduct, and developed a community in a freshman dormitory.
