 Obtain vitals and patient history during triage Testing: vision, audiometers, drug screens, breath alcohol, EKG’s, pulmonary function testing, nerve testing Conduction screens, phlebotomy and corresponding paperwork for lab tests ordered Administer injections: Subcutaneous, intradermal and intramuscular Point of care testing: strep, drug screens, mono, glucose, influenza, urine pregnancy, H. pylori, urinalysis Dispensing prepackaged medications and other treatments Sterile technique with trauma patients, instrument cleaning and sterilization Assist in scheduling ancillary appointments for patients Assist providers with exams and testing such as pelvic exams, both eye and ear irrigations Preparing and assisting with casting or splinting  Assist with patient call-backs and follow-up
