The world is resolutely global. I have lived and worked on four continents, in seven countries and around 15 cities. I understand the need to adapt content not only to the local language, but more importantly to the culture, lifestyle, and idioms of each unique community. As a qualified linguist with 8+ years of experience in the translation, localisation, and subtitling industry, let me get down to the nitty-gritty to successfully bring your business across borders and reach a new audience to engage with.My family is resolutely global. A native French speaker, I learnt English and Spanish by age 12 and embraced multiculturalism. I quickly noticed, however, how one could get lost in translation, leading to misunderstandings and conflicts. I developed a keen interest in bridging these communication gaps. I first studied Linguistics at the Lyon III University, France, where translation was a core discipline. My next move was to delve into the challenging-yet-exciting world of freelance translation.
