Contract management for cabinet office, NCS Network & The Challenge Network.Co-ordinating the UK governments flagship programme for young people www.NCSYES.co.uk within the Government's vision for building the big society. Strategically managing full time programme development, recruitment and engagement teams, whilst sourcing, training and developing hundreds of temporary delivery staff. Engaging thousands of young people in the flagship socially mixed community focused programme, enriching young peoples lives and futures whilst benefiting communities throughout Oxfordshire.

Supported vulnerable families with differing need. Acting as a positive role model for the youths and supporting parents and extended family/guardians with any parenting or other welfare matters. Linking closely with other services to create and enhance packages to improve wellbeing. A voluntary programme which used a whole-family approach to support families to enhance their strengths and protective factors and address challenges in a sustainable way. Interventions lasted for an average of 12 months, with initial high intensity that reduced over time as families became re-established in their communities and self-supporting.

Co-ordinating a positive role model programme for 7 - 15 year olds at risk of offending. Providing mentors to assess needs, design and deliver 6 months intervention packages following the Onset referral and assessment framework . Young people identified and referred by an array of agencies and professionals including schools, emergency services, social services, Youth Offending Team and many more all well placed to highlight those young people in need of extra support to decrease risk of offending. The scheme heavily contributed to the reduction of first time entrance offenders into the Youth Justice System by 79.8%.

Facilitator and certifier of trainers for the delivery of SFP 10 - 14 (UK)The Strengthening Families Programme 10-14 (UK) is a seven week, evidence-based programme to help families with young people aged between 10 and 14-years-old to prepare for teenage years.The programme is aimed at reducing alcohol and substance misuse, behavioural problems in adolescence and strengthening the parent/carer-child relationship.Targeted outcomes of the programme include: increased parenting skills; improved family competency; prevention of substance use/misuse; reduced youth aggressive and hostile behaviour; increased academic success. These can be achieved by building protective factors (eg supportive family) and reducing the risk factors (eg poor communication), which are strongly related to pathways to offending.
