In my current role at Bristol SU I:- Manage a large part of our annual ‘CommitteeFest’ conference, where student leaders spend two days learning key skills- Plan and organise the Bristol SU Society Awards- Lead a programme of training events at the start of the academic year for Student Leaders- Manage the twice-yearly programme Give it a Go! - taster events hosted by our 400 student groups- Plan and run Refreshers Fair, an event in which 150 of our Student Groups are invited to showcase their groups to potential new members- Manage and promote a ‘Student Group of the Month’ recognition scheme- Create and manage all communications out to Student Leaders

My role at this busy Arts Centre covers a wide range of duties. I supervise and support a core group of student arts societies, ensuring they are able to work in a safe, supportive and creative environment.

My role was to manage, teach, advise and develop an understanding of technical theatre practices within an educational institute. I manage Bathway Theatre, home of UoG drama department, liaising with, and facilitating visiting contractors, academics and performers.

As a member of the venue technical team I provided lighting, sound, flying and stage management for all visiting shows whilst also holding responsibilities for maintaining the building’s technical infrastructure.

Primarily working as a technician, my responsibilities included receiving, splicing and screening 35mm films; assisting visiting companies with technical needs and setting up to performance spaces.
