I am a Trainer for the Samaritans Training School, helping to provide core development and embedding training to full time trainee volunteers. My role also enables me to provide training to external customers and staff including university placements, workshops, lunch and learns, staff training and more. My career started in 2010 at AXA PPP Healthcare, where I instilled client confidence and credibility in membership services, as well as supporting claims handling with time-critical information. This followed my studies at Canterbury Christ Church University, where I achieved a 2:1 degree in Film, Radio and Television. In 2015, I transitioned to The Caravan Club, where I established solid European relationships and handled contract negotiations, often in French. Having reinforced networks, the Caravan Club was rebranded to the Caravan and Motorhome Club in 2016, in which time I progressed to Senior Operations Coordinator after a year. I overhauled inefficiencies and strengthened satisfaction with targeted initiatives, which brought services closer to the end customer. In 2019, I moved to City CV (an award-winning, international CV writing and career development company) starting as a Client Relationship Administrator before being promoted to a Client Relationship Manager in 2021. I attended to incoming enquiries, processed orders, scheduled consultations and ensured seamless administration and coordination of fast-paced and busy workloads. During my time at City CV, and as part of my Client Relationship Manager role, I also worked as the Proofing and Quality Manager. I ensured that the documents provided were of the highest quality and errors and training requirements were fed back to the Associate Manager.I love my role at Samaritans, helping to train the next generation of volunteers is very rewarding and watching the volunteers flourish and gain confidence in their role gives a great sense of pride. I love being part of a charity where we are able provide a listening ear for those in emotional distress both day and night for as long as they need. I enjoy spending my free time in the great outdoors, working as a listening volunteer and branch trainer at Samaritans, I am also a National Trust member and love to travel, meeting new people, learning new languages and exploring new places as well as being immersed in different cultures.
