President/Chief Executive Officer leading 500 military and civilian staff educating over 3,500 officer and enlisted student accessions to be safe and trusted naval nuclear propulsion supervisors and operators.− Executed a $175 million personnel payroll, $3 million operational budget, provided oversight for a multi-million dollar facility sustainment contract and development of a $85 million capital improvement project.− Responsible for over $600 million in physical assets to include 250,000 sqft of academic space, 48 laboratories, 3,540 beds for student berthing, and 226 acres of grounds.− Developed and implemented command critical self-assessment and process improvement programs with proven results in enhancing personal excellence, improving behavioral metrics by 55% and increasing student management capacity by 25% over design.− Led working groups to develop and promulgate examination security and control processes that were incorporated throughout the 16,000 person Naval Nuclear Power Program.− Mentored staff leadership development achieving the highest levels of Master Training Specialist designation, graduate education completion and retention of specialized Officers.− Synthesized support across multiple organizations from civilian contractors to other uniformed services to achieve superior command performance as noted by the Director Naval Reactors.− Implemented community engagement strategies by partnering with local businesses and government to show that NNPTC is a vital and compassionate member of the community.
