• Recruits young adults from various organizations to develop a pool of qualified candidates• Promotes the Young Adult Work Experience Program and Youth Employment Project to local area community services organizations, local businesses, clubs, chapters, secondary and post-secondary schools• Works closely with various Human Resource personnel at more than 84 companies to align participant’s skills to match their positions• Recruits local organizations and businesses to participate in the Young Adult Work Experience Program and Youth Employment Project • Assists in the completion of on-boarding documentation and orientation for new hires by collaborating with employers of record for participants to start a work experience• Maintains and develops numerous Excel spreadsheets for the purpose of tracking relevant data related to young adult employment programs• Serves as mediator for employers and participants when problems arise by working with employer to implement a corrective action plan and counsels participant• Represents the Workforce Center at special events within the community by participating in job fairs, career day events, workshops, seminars and other employment related activities• Generates reports for workforce project outcomes to senior management team
