With over 10 years of experience in security and law enforcement, currently I am the Security Manager for the City of Norfolk. I am recently separated as the security manager for Sentara Health, a leading health care provider in Virginia and North Carolina. I have a Master of Public Safety in Homeland Security from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Purdue University Global. I am skilled in law enforcement, investigation, emergency management, and risk assessment. As a Security Manager, I oversee the security operations and personnel of City facilities and assets, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. I also collaborate with other departments and agencies to coordinate security plans, conduct audits, and implement best practices. Previously, I was a Transit Security Officer at Hampton Roads Transit, where I provided security and customer service to passengers and staff, and a Probation Parole Officer at Virginia Department of Corrections, where I supervised and monitored offenders and facilitated their rehabilitation. My mission is to protect and serve the community with integrity, professionalism, and compassion. I am passionate about enhancing the safety and security of the City of Norfolk and its stakeholders, and I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team.
