I work within a technology transfer team that focuses on platform QC testing of next generation sequencing equipment, chemistry and software. This involves multi-departmental co-operation through transferring sequencing procedures and techniques. I also perform data analysis and manipulation through various means allowing me to present my data to track performance and suggest areas of improvement with the biomolecular components. Another aspect of my role is to train users on new technology and create documentation for these processes. I have also had to opportunity to perfrom demonstrations and train external users on many sequencing experiments.

I worked on the shop floor in a customer focused role which involved greeting and serving customers as well as processing transactions. At other points I would replenish stock and work on standards of presentation. I also worked as a stockroom assistant which involved processing and ordering deliveries and organising the products within the stockroom.
