About Thomas Correa

Several years ago, I climbed one of the highest peaks in Hawaii. While I was hiking, all I thought about was getting to the top and how good it would feel. Despite the high winds, wet ground, mental and physical fatigue, I kept going. I’m that person. Once I commit myself to a task, it will happen. When I got to the top I was let down: there were more people there than most other mountains I have scaled. It was filled with tourists who had mostly driven to the top, whose goals were to take a quick selfie and drive back down. I didn’t arrive at the secluded beauty I had dreamed about. However, the disappointment taught me something incredibly important; that the real experience for me WAS the hiking. In other words, the means WAS the end for me. I put that perspective to work for me as a marketer, creating dynamic projects and meeting lofty goals with teams that love disruptive technology as much as I do.
