• Contract support within the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Strategy, Policy, and Plans.

• On-site contractor support as a Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) case analyst in the Foreign Investment Review (FIR) office with Industrial Policy (IndPol) within Acquisition and Sustainment (A&S) at the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD). • In this capacity with the support of stakeholders throughout DoD, I reviewed foreign transactions for potential national security concerns. When concerns arose, I prepared a risk-based analysis and provided mitigation recommendations to the government client.

• On-site contractor support for the Director of Policy and Outreach in the office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense (DASD) for IndPol within A&S at DoD.• Managed the department’s relationship with National Technology Industrial Base (NTIB) partners, planning and executing working group and principal level meetings.• Planned and executed logistics for IndPol’s participation in the 2018 Farnborough Airshow, 2019 Aero India Airshow, 2019 Australia International Airshow, 2019 Paris Airshow, and 2019 Dubai Airshow. Assisted with preparing the Under Secretary of Defense for A&S’s participation in the 2019 Paris Airshow and 2019 Dubai Airshow. Planned and executed logistics for the Under Secretary for A&S’s participation in the 2019 Reagan National Defense Forum. Each of these engagements required scheduling meetings, preparing read-ahead material, and planning detailed itineraries for each participant. • Planned and executed meetings between IndPol and international partners from both foreign governments and industry.

• On-site contractor support for the DASD of IndPol (2/2018 – 6/2018), coordinating meetings, prep material, and travel.

• On-site contractor support for the DASD of IndPol (11/2017 – 2/2018), the Director for Defense Procurement and Acquisition Policy (now Defense Pricing and Contracting) (7/2016 – 8/2017), and the Deputy Director for Services Acquisition (2/2016 – 7/2016 and 8/2017 – 11/2017), coordinating meetings, prep material, and travel.

• Supported the Political Section, drafted cables to the U.S. Department of State, assisted in delivering demarches to the German Foreign Ministry and Chancellery, and drafted briefings for the Ambassador.

• Supported the Office of Western European Affairs, prepared daily country reports to the Assistant Secretary for European and Eurasian Affairs, prepared briefing material to the Assistant Secretary for meetings with political and civil society members of Northern Ireland as part of the annual Saint Patrick’s Day celebration hosted by the White House, drafted several written statements for the President and Secretary of State to commemorate the national holidays of several countries that fell within the office.

• Supported the Global Europe Program, hosted several events including author discussions, guest speakers, and an award ceremony; processed files on short term scholars between 1985 and 2013, ensuring proper record-keeping for the center’s history of scholarship; updated information on the Global Europe Program webpage; conducted outreach for upcoming events.

• Provided operational support to the database team and trained new employees on correct operational procedures for accessing the membership database.

• Supported the Office of External Relations, provided membership support focusing on corporate, individual, and board members totaling over 500 individuals and 100 companies, supported fundraising campaigns through donor research, data management, and constituent communications, codified standard operation procedures for training future employees, assisted in the preparation and execution of two executive committee meetings, the annual board meeting, annual member’s conference, and several smaller events with leaders in international affairs.
