Hello! My name is Thomas H. Curry, Engineer, and I am a graduate of Oregon State University School in Mechanical Engineering, having earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees(1980 and 1985, respectively). In industry, I use the industry standard for analysis software having expertise in -- NX Nastran, SDRC Ideas, ABAQUS, Matlab, ANSYS, SolidWorks 2018, etc. I also conduct Structural and Dynamics analysis, and this has been for 22 yrs. Customers have been various branches of the Federal Government: Air Force, Army, Navy, etc. Programs/projects ranged from technical support to water filtration systems to assembly engineering of missiles to structural analysis of an Anti-Armor Tank Containment Structure - munitions testing; this also includes structural analysis of launch vehicles (rockets) and optical design/analysis of optical payloads/satellites. The last, for example, was for NASA. Over the last 4 yrs, I have performed optical ray tracing and diffraction analysis: evaluation(s) of Space-Based Telescopic systems; Wave Front Error, PSFs; aberrations evaluations. I also use industry standard optical softwares: ZEMAX & Code V.
