With over 23 years of work experience in the maritime sector, I am a skilled and versatile Afloat Training Specialist at Afloat Training Group Mayport. My core competencies include communication, maintenance coordination, electrical systems, and propulsion and electrical plant management. My mission is to provide effective and efficient training and inspection services to the Navy's afloat units, ensuring their readiness and safety. I am passionate about learning new technologies and applying them to improve performance and quality. I value teamwork, diversity, and innovation, and I strive to bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the Afloat Training Group.In my current role, I leverage my SCI clearance and military skills to conduct training and inspections for various afloat units, covering areas such as damage control, navigation, engineering, combat systems, and operations. I collaborate with a team of instructors and inspectors to design, deliver, and evaluate training programs and scenarios, and to provide feedback and recommendations for improvement. I also maintain and operate the Afloat Training Group's electrical and electronic equipment, ensuring its functionality and reliability. I have successfully completed multiple training and inspection missions, enhancing the readiness and capability of the Navy's afloat units.
