Disassemble pumps, motors, valves, etc… to perform failure analysis.Develop monthly reports and charts from internal defect database showing defect trends and quality audit improvements.Design tooling, fixtures and test equipment to facilitate efficient assembly and test processes.Define calibration criteria for gauges, meters and other system qualifying equipment.Successfully reduce individual system costs by 10% on mature designs by sourcing new parts, incorporating new technologies, eliminating parts and reducing labor.Identify and visit potential vendors to evaluate processes and quality systems for qualifications. Design wire harnesses on new systems for efficient assembly. Document for turn-key procurement.Review components and processes for RoHS compliance and determine changes where applicable.Lead on several Lean manufacturing initiatives including Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping projects and 5S improvements.
