I began working at Amazon in 2015 as a normal warehouse associate. This was the start of my safety journey. I learned the importance of safety when dealing PIT and vehicles very quickly. I started in the Associate Safety Committee and soon started acting as acting chair of the committee. After being selected as a Seasonal Safety Ambassador I was promoted into the role permanently, and shortly there after was promoted again to Safety Specialist where I launched a building. I continued my role and began helping the Amazon Audit Team in 2020, and helped to develop the program. In 2021 I was selected for a short term role with the team that led to a promotion to WHS audit manager. Through out my time with Amazon I have helped others develop their skill and get promotions to various roles from Safety Specialist, Process Assistant, Waste Coordinator, and Onsite Medical Representative. I also have assisted many Area Managers with learning our Safety Management Systems Gensuite and Austin. In addition to my normal duties, I participated in audit and help to develop and code many VBA Coded Spreadsheets to track items to make life easier for the team.
