FDA/DOH and DOT compliance, training new drivers and fill plant personnel, maintain critical spare parts inventory, and of most importantly customer service!

Primary responsibility included: Production of liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, and liquid argon at the Orlando Air separation unit. Created and completed work orders (Maximo software), ordered parts, maintained critical spare parts lists and spares. Calibration of analytical equipment, preventative maintenance, and repair work on the production plant, including refrigeration skids, water cooling towers, piping, analyzers, cryogenic pumps and equipment, compressor rebuilds on both reciprocating and centrifugal. Travel to multiple Air Liquide location sites to assist with shutdown and planned maintenance projects while providing support in safety and operations. Created safe work permits, hot work, elevated work, confined space with and without rescue team, atmospheric testing, excavation work, LOTO on low and high voltage and process equipment. I was the safety champion for my location and gave support and training as well as conducted monthly safety meetings. I was part of the field leadership team giving feedback to corporate on issues in the field and solutions. I was part of the local quality control unit for medical and food grade product. I conducted IMS and QMS audits, FDA and DOH audits due to producing pharmaceutical gases. I worked on efficiency projects and helped create new ways to work safer.
