I interned at Frito-lay in Perry Georgia. This experience increased my exposure to manufacturing environments and one of the top companies in the world. I worked in the safety department and developed various processes and systems to promote safe practices and reduce the chance of injuries in the plant.

I interned at First Quality, inc. during the Summer of 2014 as a Process Engineer. I worked with a fellow intern to reduce line start-up rejects by up to 50% on each product line. I also worked on various Continuous Improvement Projects; managing the projects from idea to completion and installation. The internship involved running trials of new materials and analyzing the statistical significance of the data from both the quality department and Quality Windows. Writing up a report on the results and providing recommendations to the Process Engineer Manager was the next step. Contributing to a team and real-world experience were both valuable assets I gained from this internship.
