I am incredibly passionate about improving the lives of people with the greatest need for representation. So far I have achieved this through working with organizations focused on homelessness. This work has afforded me many experiences at every level of this issue, which have included regularly volunteering at a men’s shelter, as well as assisting caseworkers and homeless families in New York City. I have also conducted research, wrote blog posts, and tracked changes in homelessness on a national level. Most recently I have expanded my scope of experience by working with an organization involved in drug and alcohol abuse policy. Through research and policy analysis, I aspire to have a positive impact on the underrepresented and underprivileged.
