-Used Fusion 360 to create 3D models of complex steel injection molds for a plastics company in Portland, OR.-Created models and drawings from old 2D hand drawn plans as well as by reverse engineering existing molds.-Helped with various engineering, design, and research projects for the company.

-Used Solidworks software to convert “napkin sketches” to high quality, digital, 3d part models for a metal fabrication shop in Newport, Oregon-Created professional 2d plans of parts and assemblies (dimensions, tolerances, multiview projections, title blocks, bill of materials, etc.) for the company to reference during the manufacturing process

-Worked in multiple fisheries as a key crew member for a 75ft fishing vessel on the Oregon coastRemained focused, safe, and team oriented while working 16+ hour days in a strenuous, fast-paced commercial fishing environment -Responsible for many physically demanding on-deck tasks including launching and landing fishing gear, maintaining and fixing essential equipment (line, crab pots, heavy machinery, hand/power tools, hydraulics)-As a member of a 5 person team I helped with planning and preparing crew meals for 3-8 days on the ocean, performing housekeeping duties, driving the boat at night, and various engineering tasks while helping to maintain crew camaraderie and morale

-Responsible for managing and leading a team of 5 young adults on backcountry trail work trips along the Pacific Northwest Trail which lasted up to ten days.-Planned and prepared the work schedule, camp locations, meals, tools, and education needed to make each trip successful.-Helped the crew develop skills in outdoor leadership, teamwork, camaraderie, and environmental stewardship. -Certified by NOAA’s National Marine Fisheries Service as a biologist for the West Coast Groundfish Observer Program in order to work aboard commercial fishing vessels to produce statistically valid, fishery-dependent data on the boat's catch that was directly used for fisheries management, research, and education-Took various biological samples including (length, sex, otolith, tissue) according to WCGOP protocolMonitored for marine mammal interactions, recorded endangered species sightings, collected fishing effort information (time, location, depth, gear type), reported any infringements or violations, and maintained a logbook-Certified by Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission to oversee shore-based fish offloads as an independent third-party catch monitor in order to verify the weight and composition information gathered by the fish buyers and to take biological samples on any bycatch that was landed-Extensively trained in fish/invertebrate identification, scientific data collection/entry, ocean vessel safety, onboard emergency response, open water survival, vessel communication, CPR-Developed problem solving skills by working independently without direct supervision in remote environments

-Worked with a team of six to survey recreational user impacts within designated Wilderness areas in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest of the Northern Cascades and Los Padres National Forest-Used Trimble Juno GIS devices to map and classify impact areas according to U.S.F.S. damage assessment criteria-Worked in inclement and physically demanding backcountry conditions; covered over 400 trail miles carrying upwards of 40 lbs. of equipment-Received CPR and Wilderness First Aid certifications and had training in Leave No Trace backpacking and GIS
