Mr. Hill is the Founder of Tejas Research & Engineering and served as President/CEO from Sept 1999 until Feb 2010. He is a major stockholder, serves on the Board of Directors and assists management with Business Development.

Mr Hill began working on the concept of Tejas immediately after leaving Schlumberger in 1999. What began in a garage in 1999 has matured into a premier HPHT completions design and development firm based in The Woodlands, TX. As CEO for 11 years, Mr Hill founded and guided the firm from start-up, its exponential growth, and acquisition by private equity in 2008 where he remained as CEO until Jan 2010. In this capacity, Mr Hill managed all of Camco's Intellectual Property efforts, including developing novel and leading edge completion concepts which included the development of the TRM and TRC deep set subsurface safety valves. His responsibilities also included the responsibility of licensing Camco's IP.

In the Regional Engineer position, Mr. Hill was responsible for all of Camco's technical and engineering support in the Asia Pacific Region which included China, Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei. Products included all of Camco's product and service portfolio.

Design of API-14L Locks and Nipples, Packers and Completion Equipment, Slickline Tools, API-14A Subsurface Safety Valves, including the genesis of the Camco TRC and TRM models.
