Analytical and results driven with a passion for understanding problems so I can do it right the first time. Using detail oriented and data based engineering, I concern myself with the "whys" and the "hows" of a problem so that I can understand the proper way to achieve the "what". Proven background in problem solving, process design/management, data science, troubleshooting, and design. I'm persistent and a quick learner, which as allowed me to handle several industry changes with ease. Incredibly flexible, I can handle a wide range of project, problems, and jobs. If I'm not good at it, I'll get better. If I don't know how to do it, I'll figure out how to learn it.
Listed skills include Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Engineering, Lean Manufacturing, and 13 others.

Responsible for completing customer special order, prototype boots, and customer samples. I also am the SME for the automatic leather cutting/scanning machines. I built the first Automatic Leather Cutting department in the company. Currently managing the implementation of our laser robot; I learned to program the laser profiles and scaled it across an entire product line, and am production testing both the process and the laser profiles. I manage the the plant defect data, and use Data Science to look for trends that could be used to reduce defects and scrap.

I was a member of the Corporate Quality Team, helping to conduct internal audits, manage QMS and controlled document systems, and assisting with quality related issues across all 6 company locations. During my time with Paulo, I helped conduct many internal audits, and was present for several external audits. I helped identify gaps in productivity, and also revamped entire document control systems. I became IATF 16949:2015 and AS9100D External and Lead Auditor certified. I have a working knowledge of CQI-9, and was working on becoming familiar with AIAG Core Tools.

I functioned as support for the entire foundry, including troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts. One of the first things I did was correct and update Work Instructions for many operations, as well as consolidating into one central location, FileHold. I analyzed and consolidated daily scrap data reports to track and manage production scrap. In order to help our green sand be more consistent, I recorded, consolidated, and statistically analyzed sand testing data to track Cpk of 5 different sets of data. I also run weekly tests to monitor the condition of the green sand and lead weekly meetings to discuss sand consistency and generate action items geared towards improvement. When equipment is down and maintenance can't fix it onsite, I help coordinate manufacturer visits to identify root cause of various issues and utilized their support to fix the equipment. Another big item I work with is helping to monitor and maintain our permit restrictions that apply to sand casting; I perform various experiments geared towards defining root cause of, and reducing, excess LOI emissions.
Warrenton, Ga
I worked as a support function for the foundry. Managing and supporting the day to day operations of the 4 induction melting furnaces was one of my main responsibilities. I assisted with equipment issues and downtime, including scheduling, planning, and overseeing 8+ relines, including a coil change and complete re-hosing. I ordered and tracked all alloys, sub materials, and tools needed to run the melt department and then helped maximized alloy usage to minimize corrections with expensive materials. I also functioned as sort of a supervisor, and managed manpower despite shortages to get ahead of ladle relines and launder/receiver casting. I wrote, planned, and executed 'Theme Sheets' geared towards cutting downtime and saving money. I also implemented 5S in all melt areas, including complete installation of an entire rack area for alloy storage and managed training matrices for current and incoming associates.
Florence, South Carolina Area
I was the process engineer for Foundry Lead Smelting operations in Florence South Carolina. It was my job to keep emissions under control, and to work with the operators to keep production running as smoothly as possible. I also spent a great deal working with product recipes to improve and maximize process yield and minimize cycle time.
I work with the production to fix daily issues as they arise. I also utilize design and Lean to help improve production.
I wrote and processed documents that detailed how and what to do when a particular piece of equipment fails, and detailed steps to take to prevent it from failing. I also handled projects that improved safety and helped streamline the various processes I worked with.
