Assisted in the creation and management of an annual budget of $325,000. Created and supervised course curricula and program policies and regulations.Directly supervised a staff of six - including instructors, case managers, and counselors in a bilingual and multicultural office environment. Facilitated and developed relations with external partners in city government, construction trade unions, and private building firms.

Served as a health educator on an interdisciplinary community outreach team of Ecuadorian ecologists and environmental educators at the Bilsa Biological Reserve in Ecuador's Pacific Coast.Organized and directed region-wide conferences pertaining to preventative and curative health care (Where There Is No Doctor), reproductive/maternal/child health and infectious disease control at the Bilsa Biological Reserve. Recruited, trained, and supervised sixteen village health workers in disease surveillance, treatment, and health education methods in eight remote rainforest communities.Organized and participated in medical outreach teams from a centrally located hospital to isolated communities in coastal Ecuador.Co-authored a village child health handbook for mothers and community health promoters based on IMCI materials in collaboration with USAID/BASICS office in Quito, Ecuador.
