-Recommended locations and planned new horizontal wells, which included staking, well planning, permitting, geo-steering, completions design, post well analysis and finalizing regulatory documents. Currently includes 33 Cotton Valley wells and 17 Lower Haynesville wells in East Texas and North Louisiana.-Post-drilling completions design of both Cotton Valley and Haynesville horizontals utilizing MWD logs and Cased Hole CCL logs to maximize perf cluster efficiency and spacing while maintaining pre-determined stage lengths. Provide detailed log with perforations and plug depths for multi-stage field completion operations to the completions personnel.-Communicate with multiple disciplines during drilling operations including but not limited to landmen, drilling superintendent, company men, directional personnel, engineers, and regulatory personnel.-Organize and deliver presentations regarding recommendations to upper management in monthly business unit meetings.-Effectively utilize Petra and multiple other data sources (i.e.: DrillingInfo, IHS Enerdeq/Lognet, and Texas Railroad Commission) to review geological data in and around Tanos operated assets to construct and maintain maps, cross-sections, etc. of target formations and formations of interest.-Review historical data, including well logs, for Tanos’ economically weak or shut in wells to evaluate behind pipe recompletion potential.

-Train in geosteering during the drilling of Cotton Valley horizontal wells in both the lower and middle Cotton Valley formations of East Texas.-Ensure all geologists’ Petra projects are running efficiently addressing any technical issue that may arise, while also keeping production data, completion data and offset activity up to date.-Construct structure maps, net pay isopachs, gross thickness isopachs, pressure isobars and production heat maps. -Scan hard copy logs for importing and calibrating tiff images into Petra projects while maintaining a log database.

As a guide with Crooked Wing Outfitters I was responsible for finding the best field for clientele the following weekend while juggling coursework. Once permission was granted from the local farmers, plans were arranged with the clientele in which we would entertain and fulfill the hopes of our clients in an attempt to create future clientele.

Assisted construction site superintendent with daily objectives while maintaining OSHA regulations and site safety. Placed on Hunt Middle School, Frisco, TX, to complete the remaining punch list criteria, while supervising subcontractors on site to complete scheduled assignments.

Through the shadowing of the Senior Geologist, well log analysis of a prospective area in the East Texas region was completed. From the analysis, subsurface isopach and structural maps were created to express both net and gross sand percentage in the formation of interest. The creation of a cross section map using well logs to tag the depths of the formation of interest throughout the prospective area.
