New customers would create RESTful XML messages representing credit card transactions for MilStar, Visa, MasterCard, Esso, Discover, and WEX and send requests and receive responses in XML format. The primary concern was how the simulator implementation tracked to the operational baseline called StarGate Developed a new architecture that encapsulated the StarGate baseline with a one frontend and three backend webservices, and four JMS queues. Messages received at the frontend from the customers would be forwarded to StarGate. StarGate would process the message and send a response that was forwarded back to the Customer. There was one backend service to manage ISO8583 messages, another to handle any SOAP messages, and one for RESTful messages. Data from StarGate would be placed onto a JMS request queue, read by the backend service, then processed, and sent back to response queue. SOAP messages from StarGate were placed onto a JMS request queue instead of using the SOAP protocol. The backend service then used the WSDL to decompose the SOAP object and then create the return object and sent to a JMS response queue. When new baselines were available, they would integrate into this framework but did require table changes to the Cassandra database. The software was deployed on Amazon AWS using a RedHat 7 server installed with WildFly 10 and Apache2. The Apache2 server intercepted HTTPS traffic and provided 2-way authentication using a self-signed and Comodo certificate. Traffic was then forwarded to the WildFly application server over port 8080.• Provided DEV-OPS support for on-call help desk issues that were reported by Nagios. Provided MYSQL database updates for mobile credit. Wrote Python scripts using PyCharm to parse log files and generate reports. Worked with Jenkins, SUSE application server, and Docker.
